Gathering feedback at the International Science Festival

At this year’s International Science Festival in Gothenburg, the European Citiverses Uniting for Inclusiveness project gave visitors a look at the first interactive digital prototype — offering a new way to explore urban spaces virtually.

Festivalgoers were invited to experience Gothenburg’s event area through the project's digital environment, designed to promote inclusiveness and accessibility from the ground up. Engaging with citizens directly gave valuable insights and feedback, strengthening the ongoing work toward more human-centered digital cities.

In a short video from the event, one of the test participants shares valuable reflections on how digital tools can support more people — when inclusiveness is considered from the very start:

"It's very exciting! This feels like the next level — to be able to experience a place in an adaptable way."

The European Citiverses Uniting for Inclusiveness project booth was a collaborative effort, with Göteborg & Co, Future Memories, Our Normal, and Lindholmen Science Park all contributing to the experience.
