Sensory map
See where there may be large crowds, loud sounds, and other things that affect the senses.
In the AccessCity app, you can get information about the sensory environment in different indoor areas. For example, the sensory map can show where you may encounter high sound levels, large crowds, strong smells, or other factors that could affect your experience of a space.
The sensory map provides an overview of these conditions across different areas of a venue, helping you understand what to expect and plan your visit based on your own needs and preferences.
Here you can see an example of a manually created sensory map for Gothenburg Horse Show, showing what the sensory environment may be like on a typical Saturday afternoon.
The sensory map is still under development. The ongoing work will connect the map to sensors that collect data from the venue, allowing the information in the AccessCity app to reflect changing conditions. In the future, you will be able to explore historical data, live information, and predictions of what conditions may be like at different times.
